For the first time since early 2000, we find our portfolio almost entirely out of equities save for one stock that has a tendency to march to a different drummer with a negative market beta correlation, and solid fundamentals. See our closed positions for several long stock positions that we closed during the past few weeks. We are now in a vertical market run of historic proportions, see recent update here. As of this writing, the DJIA and S&P have breached momentum figures, and new daily highs not seen since the late 1920's...not a good time to be exposed to equities. To say that equity market risk remains modestly high is similar to saying that nitro is only modestly combustible, or Cheney modestly misguided, or the US culture in modest decline...and you get the point. Look for additional sell reports in the near future and an update to the master portfolio. *Net represents either price opportunity saved or lost (green vs. red) based upon the rating in our model portfolio and enterprise business models.
